The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) is Australia’s corporate, markets and financial services regulator.
Our Finance team in Traralgon are responsible for Corporations Law revenue collection including; debt management, fee waiver requests, general correspondence, CCC referrals, journal processing, reconciliations of accounts and refunds.
If you are organised, analytical, have experience in a similar role and are an excel guru, then these busy roles are for you.
Role 1:
- Assists with the preparation of Financial Statements for end of month and financial year end reporting
- Assists with the reconciliation of the banking of public monies
- Completes daily and monthly reconciliation, investigation and correction of errors
- Provides support activities for the Accountant, including analysing and preparing data to assist with debt management
- Monitors and maintains the Banking Drawing Rights schedule to ensure compliance with the FMA Act
- Identifies and recommends ongoing development and enhancement to current processes.
Role 2:
- Assists in managing the Business Names finance administration which includes; monitoring error batches, problem solving, customer maintenance and batch schedules
- Assists with account and ledger reconciliation
- Performs UAT testing
- Creates requirements and business processes for the Business Names finance system
- Assists on the Finance help desk for Business Names.
