A full time temporary position (18 months backfill until January 6 2013) for a credentialled Mental Health Nurse (RPN 4) is available for the role of GPMHNP Clozapine Clinician (Grade 4), GP Mental Health Nurse Program.
The GP Clozapine Program supports over 130 GP's and will manage over 250 clients on clozapine who attend their GP's for clozapine management. Nurses employed into this program are required to be credentialed mental health nurses who will work within the guidelines of the Mental Health Nurse Incentive Program under the program title GP Mental Health Nurse Program. Registered Psychiatric Nurses Division 3 or Division 1 with psychiatric endorsement may apply.
This position will specifically work with the Barwon Health public mental health services in the Geelong northern suburbs supporting the transition of case managed mental health clients on Clozapine to the Clozapine Mental Health Nurse Program.
There will also be the opportunity to function as a GP Mental Health Nurse within General Practice Surgeries in the Geelong Northern Suburbs. You will be required to work across the public mental health service sites, the Clozapine Mental Health Program site and General Practice surgeries.
